Our Mission

MATRIX embraces the importance of the social determinants of health concepts in all of our work. Our mission is to strengthen and support communities, organizations and systems so that individuals can live healthier, safer, and more productive lives.

Each day research reveals new avenues to strengthen health and human services work, yet a tremendous gap remains in translating new knowledge into everyday practices.  MATRIX helps governments and organizations make meaningful transitions from research to practice by combining science and analysis in approachable formats. Understanding the context, MATRIX adeptly works in local neighborhoods and around the world.

MATRIX’s primary areas of work include research, evaluation and incorporation of proven techniques and practices into health and human services programs.  Our experience and skills allow us to transcend the public sector to provide strategic guidance on corporate giving strategies as well as data analytics.

MATRIX is highly strategic, hands-on, implementation-oriented, and results-driven.
